Every dollar towards these sweet radioactive pups helps. Most of the dogs of Chernobyl are descendants of pets whose owners were evacuated after the 1986 power plant explosion. The government misinformed residents the evacuation would only be a few days, and they were not allowed to take pets. Now, there are hundreds of stray dogs in the area.
